Busy week.

I stripped my BK5 last weekend, received my BK16 this week, stripped it, and polished them both slightly. The 5 and the 16 took a great edge, but it almost seems like there is an ever so slight recurve on the 16 (directly behind the belly of the blade), probably caused by final sharpening. I figure it will eventually sharpen out, and I am looking forward to seeing how it stacks up against my 15.

Yah, I have run into that a lot with production blades where there is a slight recurve right were the edge begins, from my experience this does happen during sharpening because they place the blade on the belt and every so slightly leave it there for longer than they should, it happens and my 14 was that way. It will sharpen out really easy. Looks like you have a nice set of Beckers there, very cool. Let us know what you think about the 15 vs 16! Should be interesting.
