I have one of these. It's a beast.

I wouldn't use it in the kitchen unless I had a tree stump as a chopping block. This knife will probably destroy any normal kitchen counter or ordinary butcher block.

However, for an outdoor utility chopper it's an amazing blade, and the elegant shape and decorative notches make it a good looker too.
