Look at what showed up in the mail yesterday! This is the very first 'Hawk I have ever owned and it will most certainly not be the last. This particular example is hand forged from a railroad spike by Robert Silver of Shelby, NC. The quality of work, fit, and overall finish is outstanding. It's beautiful in a way that only something handmade can be.

You sir have a remarkable skill. Did you fashion those covers as well? I always love the way that patterning on the leather looks.

I know I'm addicted to tomahawks as I feel the need to own at least one of everything, but preferably 5...

That is nice! I'd seen knives forged from rail-road spikes before. Never imagined anyone could make a tomahawk head from one. Impressive. Wish I could craft things.

That is a very fine looking hawk.....I have seen Butch's work before and have always been impressed !

It looks like the kind of hawk that would come alive in the hand. Great looking tomahawk.
