Butterfly knives in Missouri

Is it legal to carry a butterfly knife in Missouri? I have been searching the internet but haven't found a concrete answer. I looked at the knife laws, and I'm not sure if they would be classified as switchblades.

Switch blade are leagle in MO as of july 2012, they are not pre-empted though so check city codes

Butterfly knives are legal to have in Missouri, although carrying them concealed on you in the act of a crime adds another charge.

Switchblades, if you are interested, require you to have a blade less than 3 inches and only one arm; OR it's designed to stay closed rather than open.
