For a legal case I need to find photos of this knife...
and ideally find 1 or 2 of them to buy.
Member DJD pointed out that the blade shape resembles the Boker TAN-KRI and BO-KRI throwing / field knives.
This knife is different in that it has a black synthetic handle with four holes in it.
The handle is short, like many throwing knives, and the holes would lighten it.
However the knife was being USED as a kitchen knife.
It is a recent or current knife that was purchased IN Hong Kong,
so it was most likely made either there or (elsewhere) in China.
Blade length is 20 cm = 7-1/2 to 8 inches. Probably stainless.
I do not know the thickness.
Handle is black plastic. 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches long. The 4 holes are described as 'clear,' so I suppose they go all the way through.
Only marking is a picture of a BUTTERFLY.
Probably NOT a BenchMade logo, but 'inspired' by it.
If you have any leads or suggestions, you are welcome to post here, or to email me.
Please LOOK at the blade shape.
THANKS!

And no, I can't discuss the case.
