I've seen a few Benchmades recently on this forum with a deep pocket carry clip that has the Benchmade butterfly logo on it. Any idea where I can obtain one? I checked the accessories section of the Benchmade site. No luck there. Thanks.

If you can determine what model(s) has that clip you can email benchmade for that clip they will send it out no charge usually.

Call Benchmade's C.S. and request a deep carry clip. I received one free of charge for my Rift. Their customer service is the best that I have experienced!

@jkwithawave - i have two that I would consider putting it on. The first is a 586 Mini Barrage, and the second is a bit of a franken-knife based on a 705 body and G10 scales, opened up with aftermarket back spacers and with a 707 Sequel blade. Oh, and a purple lanyard.

Yep, just call. However, they are now limiting pocket clips to 10 per year for each customer (so said Mikah in their CS department when I called a couple days ago. They are keeping track, too, as she informed me that I was close to my limit), so if you hope to get a bunch for all your knives, take good care of them. These clips tend to bend far more easily than the standard pocket clips.

loonybin,

What are you doing that requires so many pocket clips??? The fact you can get two or three totally free per year is amazing to me.

I have a 586, 581, 520-1101, 950, 9555, a 810-1401, and had a 810BK, plus my sons' two Rifts, and I put deep carry clips on all of them (just called for some for the 950 and 9555, plus a spare for the 810-1401). The one I had on the 810BK before I sold it got bent, plus one on a Rift, plus one or two on the 520, and you can go through 10 in a year easily since the clip is actually pretty weak. The culprit in almost every case? The lap belt on the seatbelt catching the clip and twisting it.

They really do need to make their deep carry clip out of Ti instead of steel. Heck, I'd pay for a clip if they made them out of Ti.
