I’m looking for a button lock knife that locks closed as well as open.

Besides the Civivi Elementum button lock, what else is out there?

Does it lock closed?
It automatically locks once the blade is brought down by pressing the button. To open you can use the flipper tab, the release button and a flick of the wrist. or the detent in the blade to Spydie flick it with your middle finger. It is a very friendly knife if you like to fidget with it.

Does it lock closed?
No, though like most knives, it has a detent that holds it closed.

For something that truly stays closed, a Kershaw Leek, a Hogue EX-0, or a double action OTF is what you want.

The Hogue EX-0 series are the oy button locks I know of with a lock to keep it closed.

Now I think I know what you meant. No, like KOD states it does not lock closed. In fact, I can flick (strong flick) it open using the upside down method without touching the button. This does not bother me though.

There are several brands that produce button-lock autos with safeties. Brands like Benchmade, Spyderco, Hogue, Boker, Gerber (yeah, I said Gerber 😁 ).

Oh yeah, and Hogue makes a few button-lock manual folders with safeties as well.

Benchmade AFO and others have a lock that works to lock open, or lock closed.

If you find a button lock auto it will lock closed with the button. If you don't like it being auto you would have to remove the spring.
