Ever been check'n out knives and stumble on one at one of the many auction sites an say to your self I got to get that before anyone else sees it? Well I have.........a bunch and have a huge box of crap to prove it! Now on the other hand I have bought knives and accessories that cost way more than they were worth (they are in that same box) but that does not stop me from buying more, case in point my Cam. BK 2 I have more handles and sheaths lying around my house for this knife than you can shake a stick at! BUT.....part of that seemingly endless search has come to an end.I purchased a custom sheath from a man I did not know or had even heard of,he said it would take 2weeks to make and 14 days after I ordered it it was on my doorstep now the quality, fit and finish are top notch and I could not ask for better! The service was perfect, but the only complaint I have is he should have marked the front with his trademark because I would gladly advertise this craftsmanship.
Thanks

That's very nice! It looks awesome. Can you carry vertical or is it strictly horozontal?
All the best

Me Cam or another Cam? Hahaha, Thats a nice sheath though man, wish I was good with leather.

I think he means Camillus, but I did think of you CamH, and your twisted BK2 lol. Skystorm does make some hella nice sheaths, and the shock cord across the strap is a clever idea to an age old problem.

Figures I'm not that famous... The shock cord was Paul from Hedgehog leatherworks I think.

It's similar, but that's going to happen no matter what because the pattern is simple enough to produce more than one of at a time.... I think Goose52 makes a vertical carry that looks similar in shape... The straps are again, something that can be easily produced, and you have to remember, both Skystorm and Hedgehog make all their sheaths by hand, so simple, no BS sheaths make sure they always have something to sell.

Edit:
how is that ''a copy'' when it look nothing at all like the Hedgie???

I think he's referring to the older Hedgehog sheath, I don't know if you've seen it or not, Adam from E2E has one, which is how I heard of Hedgehog, and it does look somewhat similar, but like I said above, that's just a nice, simple, utilitarian pattern.

Yeah, the bungie cord retention strap, the pocket, the over all shape all look just like the original HedgeHog Sheaths.

When I first became a Beckerhead, Hedgehog was the main go-to-guy for leather work. I always thought that while his stuff looked nice, the prices were simply not feasible for me. Sky's sheaths offer similar options, nicer design and far better prices.

I'm not being judgmental. I'm just saying what the sheath looks like.
