Hi Everybody,
A few years ago, I made some things I called "Stripper Clips".
Does anyone remember them ?
I made some more this week and do not remember how long ago I made them ?
Any how this is what they are
A Money Clip.
The bottom is g-10 that has been beveled to a edge that can open boxes and cut cardboard I did not make it super sharp as then it would be uncomfortable in your pocket.
the top is .125" or 1/8" kydex, to give it a spring.
There are also brass posts, stainless black oxide screws, and rubber washers.
It has been shaped to fit between your fingers to use as a improvised self defense tool.
these hold cash or cards very securely.
Back in 2003 I made some money clips out of just a single piece of kydex.
I found that over years the kydex being forced open by the pressure of a stack of bills would loose its clamping ability from the constant pressure.
So After making 1000's of holsters I came up with the idea to use screws, posts and rubber spacers to give the clip adjustment and use the rubber as the flex point.
I have one that is quite a few years old now (about 6 ?) and it is still as good as when I made it new.
So what do you think ?
