Buy for utility or appearance

In my post about the attractive knives there were so many beauties. But I am pondering half the day and night what to buy as one single knife to go with my Delica 4, Black Horse and Ti Lockback. The truly great knives as some speak of them are also called ugly and look that way to me. I know I have to make my own decisions, I am just wondering how many keep knives strictly for aesthetics and how many use them regularly. I buy ONLY for looks, but do carry one any time I have pants on.
 
I buy for both asthetics, and usefulness. I wouldn't buy the most beautiful knife in the world, only to find out it won't even cut through a sheet of paper or cardboard, or won't cut something as simple as fishing line. Just like, though they are useful, you won't find me buying an opinel.
