Buyer Beware!! Fake Domino on the Bay

This guy is selling a fake Spyderco Domino for 250 dollars!!!!! And someone bid on it!

1.) You can tell its a fake because the real Domino has the same pivot style as the Southard and many other spydercos. That is that its a 3 part construction. One Barrel Pivot and 2 screws. This fake is a 2 part pivot construction like those on the Zero Tolerance knives. You can notice it on the frame lock side that it isn't a screw.

2.) The standoffs are wrong. This has cylinder standoffs and the real one has Hourglass shaped standoffs.

3.) This fake doesn't have a lockbar insert like the real ones do.

4.) Spyderco doesn't make a full titanium Domino (Most obvious reason lol )

Overall, it's pretty scary how close it is. I had to pull out my Domino to spot some differences.
 
I messaged the guy on eBay. He claims he received the knife as a "gift" and looked at the Spyderco website. He did not say it's was or was not a fake. He finished his message that Spyderco make good knives. A true sleaze.
 
I messaged him, here's his reply:

Sir I've searched the eBay sales and found this exact knife by others for sale, I purchased this knife after finding the local individual, and was reassured they are from Spyderco, I take offense to the insinuation that I am being deceitful if I felt you were right after all my research I would put it out there as a clone, as I have done with a fake CRK That I'm taking a huge lose on , but being honest about it being a clone! I value the honest input and look into it very seriously, if you can prove I was sold and am selling a clone I will be happy to look and listen to said proof, as I did with my other one I've found to be so!! But don't accuse of misrepresentation without giving me the knowledge of why you say so!! I have looked at all makers marks and held this knife, it is a quality knife, period! So if you can explain why your so sure it's a fake then explain why, and help me understand, please! And thank you!

maybe try to educate him? He could be truly ignorant of the fact that he has a fake.
 
I emailed him on eBay on gift vs. purchase. It a long self-serving email it is basically both according to him. He is hurt that people is calling him a liar. That tends to be the last refuge of liars.
