Buy a Buck 301 stockman knife. It uses 420 HC.

Why 420HC?

There's plenty of other steels you can get for low price and they'll perform better.
 
Thanks. I want to build a knife with 420 HC, so Im looking for a blank to do it. In my country is near impossible to get 420 HC.
Due this Im looking some places in USA to buy this steel. Thanks again
 
Consider having Bos do the heat treat. If shipping is not too much where you are.

Which country are you in?

your best luck might be getting some 1/8" bar stock... (you might be stuck with 'the river' site as the best option in your country)
but you know forging stainless steel isn't really going to work right?
stainless knives are generally done as stock removal
