It pretty well depends on how much you want to spend and how large of a blade you would like, you can go from $187 for a new Game Warden to $1300 for an older discontinued model , custom.
 
Start with what is easy to get. Like Mark said, sm. med. lrg.?

Small....game warden. Active Duty. Leaners
Medium...... Badger Tac, ASH-1
Large......FFBM

See what is at the Company Store or Busse Home for the ASH-1. The exchange here has a plethora of blades available. A good place is whatever is in your budget......then after the sickness tacks hold...extend your budget!
 
We need to know your intended use, as there is actually a nice variety of Busse blades available at the moment. That's not always the case.

Fusion Steel Heart.....in any configuration. Reasonably priced and come up occasionally.

Unless you want to drop 1K plus on a Straight Handle Battle Mistress:eek:

well i said that same question about 2 weeks ago and i wasn't to sure about the steel so i got the cheapest available to test out busse and that was a game warden. if you going to actuly use it i would go for the game warden if you strictly colecting go for the ash-1 thats if you have the money. and if you trust all the busse fans that busse kicks ass (which it does) then just start off with a battle mistress. i am going to get one (hopfuly)

given its current availability, the fusion battle mistress limited edition would make the greatest impression.


i would recommend the badger attack tac, also currently available.

good size and very versatile. and wont break the bank.
