I have a large 21 with the standard blade shape which i have designated as my beater do anything with edc. I was wondering that if when i am done with the blade shape in a very long time that if chris reeve offers a blade swap to insingo from the drop point? I just got new large micarta insingo this weekend and i am going nuts over the blade shape so i am very into wanting to get my plain 21's blade swapped when it needs to be.

I feel ya, but variety is the spice of life ;)

I say shoot em an email or give them a call. I couldn't see an issue with a blade swap done by CRK, but then again there's a reason I buy knives, not make them:D

"Unless I am mistaken the customer originally asked if he could purchase an Insingo blade for his existing (non Insingo) bladed knife. I told him we are not offering just the Insingo blade at this time and I don’t know if we ever will. We will happily re-blade any Sebenza 21 (or Classic 2000 as they are the same blade) with a damascus or standard 21 S35VN blade. There is no limit on how may knives we will do this with. What we won’t do, and I think this is where the confusion came in, is replace a standard 21 blade with a Tanto or Insingo blade. If a knife originally had one of these blades we will offer a replacement of the original type or of a 21 S35VN blade. We will also not sell the carbon fiber faces on their own in case that comes up. I hope this clears things up but if not email me at crkinfo@chrisreeve.com as I do not frequently check the forums.
Thank you,
Heather"
