Is it possible to buy a basic membership with a Visa Prepaid Gift Card? I tried just now, it kept saying "This transaction has been declined". I put in the CC#, expiration date, info, check the box to copy the billing info to shipping info, put in the verification code, then click Submit. Am I doing something wrong?

Excuse me for horning in, but it would not hurt to call the phone number on the back of the prepaid card and just confirm that it has been activated and funded. And then proceed from there.

It is activated and funded; I bought this card a couple months ago. I checked the balance online, and it has just enough to purchase a basic membership.

EDIT: Actually read the post. The first time I did it I had an identical "This transaction has been declined" message, second time it worked perfectly.

Are you sure you used a prepaid card? For some reason it doesn't work for me.

Mine was a $10 prepaid Visa card I got as a rebate for one thing or another.
I'm sure Spark will be here in a bit to let you know what you're doing wrong.
