Buying direct

I am a new knife guy, and bought my first Benchmade from Sport Chalet. A Barrage. I love it. I learned about 5 weeks after I had it that the blade being straight center when the knife was folded was where it was supposed to be. My Barrage damn near rubbed the edge. Sooo I ended up purchasing another ( Centered this time) and switching the boxes and returning the off one. Pain in the rear!!! My question is this...
If I purchase from the Benchmade site, will I have better Luck getting quality controlled product?

You'll pay full MSRP, as with most sites that sell their products in house. I doubt that the QC would be better as they are all made in teh same place. Best thing to do is send the knives back to the manufacturer and ask if that is within "spec".
