Anyone ever done it? The only places out here in pullman that sells guns are big 5 and walmart. Anyone tried to see if they will recieve a gun for you, for a fee?

Are you referring to Pullman, WA? As in, "All dirt roads lead to Pullman"? ;)

Honestly, I've never checked if Walmart or Big 5 would do this. I know that Walmart can (and will) order stuff that they don't normally stock if it's in their catalog; Big 5, I'm not so sure about.

Ask around about any garage FFL's that might be in the area. The ones that used to be around here dried up for various reasons but there might be one near you.

Do you belong to a club? If so, ask them if they have an FFL. It took me several months to figure out that mine did. They don't advertise the fact.

An FFL can charge you whatever he or she feels like. I've seen transaction fees locally vary from $20 to $50+.

Yeah. Are you out here too? I'm in an off-campus apartment. I do not know of any clubs or garage ffls. It's not a real gun area, around the other students, and I don't know any of the locals. I hope walmart will do it. It's a handgun though, and as I understand, they've stopped carrying them in their stores entirely.

In Moscow on the road coming from Pullman is Husky Sport Shop. They will order you whatever you want if they don't have it in stock. There is A gart sports in Lewiston, also black sheep and lolo sporting goods as well as several in Clarkston. As for "garage" FFL's, there is a guy named Steve Gaudette "Gooey" in Moscow. Get in touch with Monte the manager of Bruneel Tire Factory there in Moscow, he can set you up with Steve, or he probably knows numerous other dealers in the moscow/pullman area.
