Buying knives to trade?

I often see knives in store's on sale that look like good deals but are not the type of knives I would buy for my own use or I already have one and don't need another.

For example Wal-mart close outs 50% off. Hardware store knifes close outs at 30% off, Target close-outs, etc....

I was thinking about buying some of these "good deals" and put them up for trade.

Has anyone else tried this, how did it work?

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. If you find a good deal, odds are someone else has also found 'em. Bottom line is that if you buy something just to trade make sure its something that you like because there's a 50/50 chance you're going to end up owning it.
