Well other than advice on blades I know I ask you hogs for advice on booze.

Tired of paying NYC prices north of $30 for a bottle of simple Elijah Craig 12 year.

Can any of you guys recommend me a good online retailer for bourbon that wont kill me on shipping?

Thanks :D

So, I have been curious about this topic:)

Call me naive, but how can you buy liquor online legally?

Can I do it in VA?

The last time I gave a heads up on a good deal for liquor, I got an infraction. :thumbdn:

Hmmm... it isn't auction spotting.

I think a lot of us would like to know a good way to buy booze that we cannot find otherwise. Seems like a useful topic to me...

woah woah woah, you can buy liquor online?????? And it can be delivered to your doorstep???? That is one of the best things I have ever heard. Im ordering a pizza and bottle of Johnny Walker for the Ganzaa so I won't miss anything.

I think most online retailers won't ship hard liquor across state lines. I suspect that's because it's illegal pretty much everywhere.

That said, for beer and wine, I've found that Hi-Time Wines is pretty reasonable on the shipping. If they'll ship hard liquuor, I'd expect shipping to run about $40 a case.

They have Elijah Craig 750ml 12YO for $22.99. About $150 for JWB.

Binnys.com -- They're based in Chicago, and ship all over (depends on your locale).

They have a great selection, fair prices, and stock much more than what's listed on their website. Contact their Whiskey buyer if that's what you're into, he's a great help...
