Buying Multiples

If buying something, selling/trading it, then buying another one back again falls under buying multiples, then yes, I am guilty ;).

With the ones I've been buying over the last year.. sure I'd love to have multiples of them, but can't really afford it. I know that someday I'll definitely buy a Second Ash1, just to have a nice one kept back for the long distance future.

I'll definitely be buying multiples of my Strider folerrs (in slightly different variations) At least with folders, you can change them up and carry them along every day to use/ (play with) every day.

I will usually purchase a second of every folder that I like to EDC. One for use and one for the collection.

No- my collection is about diversity. I always wondered what the draw of the same model was like (not hating on those that do, just not my direction).

I have 5 kershaw scallions off of ebay the price was so good at the time i felt i had to buy them..there all different styles..but now i am going to sell at least 2 poss three of them back on ebay...i am a impulsive shopper....my poor bank account

I've never bought multiples of the same knife. The money I would spend on a multiple I could spend on another knife that interests me.

Currently I have as muliples:

3 Strider SmF's
2 Busse Tank Busters
2 CS Recon Scouts
2 CS Trail Masters

I have multiples of some knives and it makes me happy. I am compelled to do so for unknown reasons. Sometimes if i really like a knife and I think it may be cycling out of production I will pick up an extra.

When my mom found a purse she liked she'd buy about 6 of em. I'll sometimes buy more than one knife I like and leave the others in the box. If I lose mine I'm all set, and if not the others make great spur of the moment gifts.

Ive bought a couple of the same. Once I got another bm 710 because I wanted a non coated version but never ended up using it as I fell for my black coated one. Will sell the non coated one when I need cash (which is probably soon=P). Got a second bm mini skirmish because a real nice deal came up for a new one so i snagged it. Selling both of them off as I dont like recurves--great knife otherwise. Other than that never have and I dont plan on doing it again. I like my users be unique--makes me appreciate them more. Non users are to be sold in the future as well.

I would probably buy 50 of a knife i really liked if i had the money, so i can use the one i have without worry.
The only duples i have though are 2 red plastic Moras and two 24'' CS latin machetes.
