Buying my first. Advice please!

Im going to be buying my first Busse soon. I can only afford one at the moment, so its a hard choice because both have really caught my eye! The choices are the SAR8 and the NMSFNO. Now I know the NMSFNO is the more popular one, but both of them really do it for me. What do you recommend for a general use knife (not a chopper)?
I will be buying both eventually so another question I have is that if I pull the trigger on the SAR8, how often does the NMSFNO come up on the sale section? Would it be reasonably easy to find when I do decide to buy it?
Thanks!

NMSFNO would be my option...Satin with tigerhide micarta scales would be ideal.

I would say that the Sar 8 is a little more rare than the NMSFNO but I love my NMSFNO. They are very similar but I like the taller blade and extra thickness on the NMSFNO. I have a Sar 4 which should have a similar grind to the Sar 8 and the grind on the NMSFNO is more to my liking than the SAR. The taller blade allows for a more gradual taper from spine to edge. The NMSFNO is my favorite Busse thus far.

Both are great blades. If you are really set on eventually getting both of them, I wiuld grab the SAR first as they are more rare than the NMSFNO. Just playing the odds and only my opinion. Whichever way you decide to go make sure you post pics once your new blade arrives.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll go with Beckerhead and Garth's advice and go for the SAR8 for now. Breaks my heart not to get both though! Now I know what you guys mean by "the addiction"! I'm already trying to scrounge up more $$ for the NMSFNO!

PS-Its great to see the guys from Busse so active on here helping out noobs like me. Just makes me all the more confident that I've picked the right product.

General use?

TGLB - it's in the store, now. Plus, you can kill zombies with it.

There are many NMSFNO in circulation, so one could expect a fairly steady supply on the resale market going forward. Just do a search here and eBay for NMSFNO and see how many are/have been available.

Just to confuse things, IMHO the FSH is a better 8" blade than the NMSFNO, preferably in the 0.27" variant that has been coming out of the Custom Shop in the last few years. Downside is that FSH cost more than NMSFNO.
