Buying my first Chris Reeve Knife tomorrow!

Howdy yall,

After lots of back and forth about various knives from various makers, I'm totally sold on CRK. I think, both by ease of finding one for sale and because it seems to be the logical places to start, I'll be ordering a large sebenza 21. I've been carrying a friends large 21 for the last couple of days and even though its right handed I still love everything about it. I'm excited- excited enough in fact that I'll probably waste the cash for rush delivery. I'm really excited!

Also, I'm not 100% on the rules here, but I think this is ok. If it is not, I'll happily delete this section. I'm obviously going to buy from an authorized dealer (I'm a skeptic and wouldn't feel comfortable buying elsewhere), and I'm just curious if anyone has any suggestions of who have a large left handed 21 in stock and offers good shipping options? MonkeyEdge is the only one I've seen and for some reason I can't get shipping options to pop up. If nothing else I'll just give them a call tomorrow, but I thought I'd ask if there is a preferred dealer around here!

I'm not positive what the rules are suggesting a dealer or who all of the contributing dealers are so ill be silent there. What I can say, and I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong, is that I've never seen a left handed copy, clone, or fake CRK. You're probably safe buying second hand if its a lefty model that you're after.

I hope that you enjoy your new knife as much as I do my CRK collection. I've spent the extra dough on expedited shipping more than once, silly? Maybe, but worth every penny !

I have dealt with that company on a few occasions and they are great. I have also dealt with many others, email me if you like.

I actually figured out how to change the shipping options. Turns out the flu and massive amounts of meds can effect your cognitive ability. I'm really siked- I've always done fine with right handed knives, but getting something of this quality (if it was right handed only, I'd still consider it) in a left handed model? I'm totally sold. I'll have to be diligent in the future and soon as the 25 comes out jump on one since the limited left handed numbers seem to be sold out everywhere. I think its worth the extra $20 to get it two day shipping- I'm never patient and this is no exception.

I always go with knifecenter. They have plenty of lefties and do next day air.

Thanks! I actually ordered it from monkey edge this morning! It's suppose to be here by Thursday night. I am beyond excited at this point!

I got my Insingo from Monkey Edge a few months ago, they were fast and great to deal with. You're gonna love it!

I know it isn't expect to arrive until tomorrow, and yet I haven't gone more than 30 minutes without checking the shipping status from fedex. I gave back the the Sebenza I had borrowed so that I would properly enjoy mine as soon as it arrives (I was using a right handed model, so it wouldn't have been the same, but still), and now I'm waiting not especially patiently.

Lol, I'm in the same boat. My first should be delivered tomorrow as well. I absolutely couldn't be more excited.

Congrats!

I can tell you from experience that the mailman doesn't appreciate it much when you hide in the bushes waiting for your knife to arrive, so now I sit in my truck ;P
