buying myself a birthday present

My birthday is coming up and I am having trouble deciding what knife to get myself. I am stuck between getting a green frn handle delica 4 or a persistence. If I get the persistence I will also be able to get a pioneer sak. I was wondering which one you think i should get and why. The knife will be used for edc.
 
Get the Delica.
I've been using it for a couple of years now, it's a handy little folder. The lock-back is safer for me as I had a liner-lock knife open in my pocket, luckily I didn't get cut.

Which of the 2 knives you mentioned stick out to you the most?
 
Thank you. That's what my problem is I love the blade shape of the persistence but I love the green handle of the delica. Although I have never seen them in person I have seen pictures and videos.
 
i would go with the delica, i prefer the lockback to the liner lock on the persistence. and the steel on the delica is better in most peoples opinions.
 
Get the Delica in foilage green with combo edge. Oh, that 's my choice. Get what you want.
 
Green Delica it is. It's a better steel than the Persistence, and they are a limited run. Gof for the Delica and dont look back! lol
 
Think first on what your going to use your knife for. If it's going to be light use, edge holding will be such that you won't be able to tell the difference between the two steels. When you say green Delica, it wouldn't be the ZDP one would it? The ZDP is supposed to be one of the hardest steels in production models at present. Having said that, buy what appeals to you.
 
The Delica is a great knife. You'll probably go astray getting other knives after the Delica, but in the end you will come back to your roots. I know I did :D
 
There is a reason the delica is one of the cornerstones of the spyderco lineup. The ergos a spot on, the design is constantly refined, and they are always equipped with the best overall balde steel available.

You can't go wrong with them.
 
I've been thinking about the purple, mainly because it is so different and toy like.
 
Delica was the right choice. You can always get the Persistence later on as it's not too expensive.
