buying on the forums

Hi all, I had to sign up just so I could comment on all the incredible custom work I see posted for sale. I am now ready to buy, but I have a question. Can I buy with my basic, free profile? Or do I have a get a paid subscription to make a purchase?

I know the information is probably posted somewhere in the forums, but for the life of me, I can't find the answer. Not to mention my computer at work won't let me do much "surfing".

I appreciate the help.
 
You only need a paid (Gold or better) membership to sell. Anyone can buy. Welcome to the forums by the way!

REGISTERED USERS - The first level of membership. If you have not purchased a paid subscription, you are by default a Registered User. As such, you are very limited to posting areas in the Exchange. You may respond to threads where you mean to purchase an item, or trade. You are not allowed to create threads for Selling or Trading (but you may respond to existing ads). You do have the ability to create WTB threads.

Because you are unable to send PMs as a Registered User, you will need to use the "Send Email" option to contact the sellers, or provide contact information in your post in the For Sale thread for an item you want to buy.
