Buying "replacement scales" for Busse's

Evening - for those with experience with the below, unless its really off the wall...

any way to get replacement scales from Busse to put on yourself?

I was just wondering as I am starting to do some of my own customizing slowly, mostly handle mods, and about to strip a strip a Skinny Ash1 user i got lately, and if i mess something up or don't like the end result as far as scale mods go, what are my options?

Any recommendations from specific aftermarket makers/sellers or how to get direct from Busse, AND what the timeline might be on receiving?

Thanks all for any advice, an no I have not effed anything up yet...yet...

I did not google/search, seems like a lot of stripper/mods talk lately so I figured I would start a specific thread on the handle mods piece while verybody is getting all creative and stuff...

There are some craftsman that make scales...though, if they don't have the same knife, one would have to send the knife to them to have scales made.
To the best of my knowledge, Busse does not sell ready to apply scales...and the custom shop is not taking orders at present; so that timeline would be quite long.

If you screw up, or don't like the end result...learn from your mistakes and try again.

I buy micarta and make my own scales. Theres a few scale mods in here for reference.

Don't forget to post pics when you're done.

They won't sell you scales, or scaled knife models without the scales. I believe this is related to the Forever warranty, and a future owner potentially having a problem with your handle application.
