Thanks to your post on the Bulldog Brand slipjoints, especially the Canoe, I had to go to SMKW and buy one for myself.

The Canoe pattern is my favorite with the stockman a close 2nd. I've been looking for a good slipjoint lately since the "tactical" knives are getting boring. Can't wait till I get it in my grubby paws

Thanks for the good article and pics. The one of the open canoe is my wallpaper now.

BTW, when I get my Bulldog, I'll try to take a picture of it with my mid 60s vintage S&W 36 (flat latch and all). It has a set of stag stocks that are quite old and worn smooth from age. I think they'll make a nice combo, both visually and aesthetically.
