For anyone who owns both, how close are the bushwacker mistresses handles to the killa zillas?

also (out of curiosity), how does the bwm compare to a basic 9?

I have had my "shipping" notice from Amy for a few days now so mine will hopefully arrive soon :) I can let you know then ...

Some may have the relevant knives now though Stateside ....

The BWM handles are straighter, the KZ has a little more bend to the handle, especially toward the back end. Sorry I don't have a side by side picture yet.

are the palm/finger swells, and the thickness of the index and pinky finger position the same?

To me they feel totally different. The BWM handle is straighter and rounder. The KZ handle is a bit flater and bends off at the end. The KZ is an incredible knife! It is hard to explain the awesomeness of the KZ unless you hold one in your hand.

Thats actually why I ask. The KZ that I got, to me, represents a huge leap forward in handle ergonomics from previous incarnations. the straight handles has a severe finger swell with no palm accomodation, the ergo handles were WAY to thick at the pinky, and the fusion handles (again, for me) have to much palm swell when combined with the pinky area being so small. The kz deals with all of that, having a milder palm swell then the fusion handles with a slightly beefed up pinky area. It deals with almost every major problem present in the earlier generations of large chopper handles.

if the bwm had the same handle (but with less of a pommel) I'd be kinda interested in getting one as a lighter chopper. but if it's closer to the fusion handles it doesn't interest me as much.
