The more I compare the Busse knives that I own the more I feel that the BWMLE compares more to a SH then a BM in terms of weight/balance.

The BWMLE feels as light in hand as the ASHLE and a little lighter then the SHSH. That is to me anyhow. I have no idea what these weigh but if I go from holding one knife to the other that is the "feel" I get:)
 
Is the ASH-LE in between thickness of the cg and the skinny? That seems to be the perfect balence, awesome.

What's the story with the SH? Ganza/show release? Loving it.Thickness?
 
I think they are all .220??? That is why I am so amazed that the BWMLE "feels" lighter in my hand then the SHSH and about the same as the ASHLE. I got the SHSH from Z51, who is the man BTW:D

I thought the ASHLE was the perfect knife until I got the BWMLE. Now I am very conflicted.:D

Oh, and yeah, the ASHLE is between the Skinny and CG:thumbup:
 
Sounds like your really enjoying your new BWBMLE congrats. :thumbup: You'll have to let us know how she chops. :D

Well, you know it will not chop like my axe. About the only time I chop is when I split firewood for the fireplace. I am pretty good with my Gransfors Bruks:D ALL OF THE TREES around the house are already trimmed up:p

That is what you get when you use an El' Cheapo Lens Uncle:D

Basically, I have missed Busse offerings and later grown to really like the designs. I have been lucky enough to get in on the last two offerings and could not be happier. There is nothing worse then realizing after the offering is gone that you REALLY WANT THAT BUSSE:D
 
What is next for you Rolf? Are you holding out for the Boss's CG made just for you?

Rich, I'm with you man. I have a .22" ASH 1 (not an LE) and I love it, then I bought a full convex satin NMSFNO and that was the best overall blade I had seen. Then this BWM LE came and rocked my world. I have it on it's way for a sheath and intend to make it my ultimate camp/do-it-all knife. I just hope I can pair it with a .14" thick BOSS Street in the future.

What kind of sheath did you go with? I am trying to decide between my normal ChuddyBearLeather or one of the new Mashed Cat Drop Loops.

That they are my friend, Hey that SHSH is pretty sweet too. Do you guys always have to send your knives off to have sheaths made. I mean don't the sheath makers have templates for the different Busse's on hand already.
 
I have good luck with Mashed Cat and ChuddyBear having what I want on hand. For the rest I can't answer that and I really don't own any protos or anything like that. Hopefully someone else can help you on that one a little better:)

I am going kydex with this one. On it's way to Brian for a nice drop leg. I normally don't send them in but I thought I would get a nice custom fit on this one since I have a feeling it will become my main user.:thumbup:
