Been grinding something fierce today...!

Each pound of dust down there is worth about $15-20.

:foot:

Maybe you could sandwich those particles between some Lexan and make a giant magnetic drawing board. I could play with those things for hours as a kid.

Haha I love it Daniel :D. That kinda sucks! Too bad it has bits of abrasive in there, would make some interesting canned damascus stuff. Maybe separate out with a magnet?

How about buying some sheets of canvas, mix in epoxy and the dust, then make your own unique handle material!

I have a bunch of that off the surface grinder, I was gonna try and do something with,

hey sam maybe the abrasive in it could act as flux, i know in the past some have used sand as a flux, in forge welding

you guys crack me up....:D

I've thought about doing something with it...but honestly...it's just more work and only the possibility of a good outcome. There are several steels in the mix there...but mostly A2 (Survivor knives).

And that was just 15 of 'em....and only "mostly" flat ground. But it was a result of the morning's grinding.

*cough*...*cough*....

Amaze your boys. Sprinkle it over a candle and watch it burn!!!

You could do a comp to see who gets it, i'm sure someone on here could do something with that lot.

It is a very impressive heap though.

Does this mean the doctor doesn't have to give you the iron-deficiency lecture at the next checkup?

Wow, I just got a huge urge to ball that up like a snowball and chuck it at somebody.

I have about a handful of A-2 dust in my shop vacuum and all over my garage.
