Well I'm leaving for my climbing trip to Joshua tree, when I get back its off to work in the forest away from computers and school. I've really enjoyed this place since discovering it in the winter, I want to thank you all for creating such a great atmosphere and especialy Yangdu for keeping HI going long enough for me to find it.

Untill September

Grob, have a great time.

I lived in the 'inland empire' for many years and Joshua Tree was my favorite place. I'm not a climber, but have been over all of the park, a not inconsiderable amount of space!!!

Joshua Tree helped me to feel the Great Heart, and I know it will be a good thing for you to be there.

I spent an enjoyable thee day weekend there a while back. Geologically an interesting place with lots of huge boulders needing to be climbed. I was sitting atop one of them when we had an earthquake. It wasn't that big(around 5.0 or such), but it sure made an impression. I could feel the rock sway and hear it grinding on the others flanking it. It gave distinct smell. Almost like ozone I think.
Anyway, stay out of the heat and have yourself a great time. See you in the fall.
