I have a few shoe boxes storing, traveling thru time, cutlery. The boxes age and slowly become vintage as does the cutlery. This box has special meaning due to the celebrity/charity/infamy involved with the players. Usually, for me, the contents of the shoe boxes tell the story but in this instance the box tells one of its own.

Here is the inside story:

Thanks for sharing Oregon.......I especially like the AG russels "gentlemens" knife.

The giant Jacknife is a WWII survival folder. The clip point blade locks. This one was manufactured by United in G.R. Michigan. 13.4 ounces, 4.75" blade and 5 1/8" saw. Overall open is measures about 15.5 inches. This one is unused. Quite a handful.

Thanks. That brings back fond memories. I wish I still had it. Mine was totally used and abused though. I do recall it having a Walker liner lock on the main blade.

Good. Knives can take you down the memory path. I have knives owned and used by both my Father and Grandfather. When I see their knives I get a rush of memories of both ancestors, bless their souls. Little remains of the dear departed as the years shoot by. Photos fade but their cutlery travels quite well thru time.
