Hey guys,
Im fairly new to spyderco and just got a tenacious (love that thing!) and recently ordered an old endura in G2 (cant wait!). I do have questions about the byrd line though...since its an economy line how much quality can you expect from one of these knives? Would it be worth getting one to just try it out or should I save my money for something nicer?

I can pretty much promise you that no Byrd will be worth more than three times what you pay. ;)

Try one. You'll be scratching your head wondering how they can afford to sell something so good for so little. :D

Byrds are great... but as much as I love Spydies I can't get over how ugly the byrd CometHole is... lol.

Byrds are great for the money, but if you're in a position to save up for something nicer that's what I'd recommend.

Get yourself a Military or Chinook III or something...you'll be totally blown away.

The quality of the byrds are very similar to the tenacious, but I'm not a big fan of the byrd opening hole.
