Hi. I have a question concerning the method used to sharpen a blade that has only been honed on one side. I have a Byrd Crossbill (Not the highest quality) that has a partially serated blade but the front part of the blade is plain. It only has a edge on one side. I would be interested to find out the propper procedure for sharpening the plain part of this blade. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks, I will give it a try. I havent ever really been good at freehand sharpening but I will give it a try. :D
