Was at a gun show this weekend and was about to buy a Blue Sprint Run Persistence when I noticed this little guy sitting next to it. The bird's head thumb hole intrigued me so I grabbed it and just couldn't put it down. I really loved the size, shape and blade design so I bought it. Not real familiar with the BD1 steel, but I've used it quite a bit in the last few days and the edge retention has been great.

Even though the cutting edge is only just over 2" its very adequate for everyday use, and the finger choil and thumb ridges allow for great control. The liners are skeletonized, the spacers have a grooved design, belt clip, and there's a lanyard hole. The only negative I noticed was the nylon washers, but I can remedy that with bronze or brass ones if they wear out, oh and clip is pretty tight (can be a + or -). I give it a thumbs up.

Thanks for the mini review. I'll have to check one out at my local shop. I'm happy that they've received the bd1 upgrade!
