I received a new, but dull Byrd Finch today. Previous ones have been pretty sharp, so I will assume QC. was absent that day. Anyway, I attempted to use the WEPS with PP II arms and riser. Even clamped on the top of the clamp, the stones hit the clamp. I used the 1/4" or so of stone that I could. It was not a good showing for the WEPS.
My question is: How would you folks approach this knife (other than sending it back, which is not worth it)?
