I picked up a couple of Byrd's, the Robin $18.99, and the Meadowlark $23.99 both in G10 off Ebay, and am very impressed. For imports they are solid and well made.Zero blade play. If your in the market for great priced low end knife to beat the heck out of these are it...

I got a G10 Cara-Cara.Very well built,solid knife.

I agree on the cara-cara. I took mine on my honeymoon expecting it to be snagged by baggage handlers and we used it all week and it kept on ticking.

The cara-cara is heavy, but you can feel that it is sturdy.

I got a G-10 CaraCara as a beater. I've used it for about three months and have been pleasntly surprised at how sturdy it has been. It's now a favorite.

Same here on the Cara Cara, what an outstanding knife! At that pricepoint it easily holds it's own against other knives that sell for three times as much. I use it as a camp knife and lot's of other dirty jobs and it's become one of my favorites.
