Can anyone give a review of this knife? I don't expect a lot for under $20, but I'd like to hear your opinions. Thanks!

I have used the Byrd Meadowlark, Cara Cara and Pelican, don't judge the quality by the price. The construction and performance is solid.

You can certainly expect alot. I have the Crow it is built like a tank and sharp as a razor.

The Byrds I've seen tend to be a bit heavy, but they exhibit all the fine quality Spyderco is famous for. In an era of super-light weight knives such as the Benchmade models, they may be more than what a lot of folks want to carry; however, they will cut very well and last a very long time.

When using a light knife for heavy duty, I never quite know how they'll hold up; however, with the Byrd, I don't think that will be an issue.

The Raven is Aluminum with steel liners.

The Cara Cara, Meadowlark, Robin & Finch are SS handles, with FRN models in the works.

The Flight, Crossbill & Pelican are SS handles only.
