I gave a Cara Cara to my little brother this Christmas and he loves it.
This will not be the last Byrd I buy. I will buy some for myself and for friends. I actually think that the knife is better in many respects than my SS endura- for less than 20 bucks!

This post is to anyone on the fence considering the Byrd Knives but not knowing if they want to go for it. I would say that the knife is about the best value I have ever seen.

I've already picked up a Crossbill and a Flight. Gave the Bill to the GF, and kept the Flight. No and I mean no blade play and it came really, really sharp.

My only complaint could be solved by two more sets of holes for additional clip mounting position (I'm always putting the knife in different pockets and I love tip-up carry, but with the blade facing the pocket seem).

I think Sal and company really hit it out of the park with the Byrd line.
