I'm thinking of getting a Byrd Raven. Generally I don't like metal handles (aluminum, SS), as they feel too slippery to me. But I like the look of the ridges on the black aluminum version of this knife. Does anyone have one or felt it? How grippy is this? Or should I go with the G-10?
 
I've owned the aluminum one previously and I currently have the G10 version. I actually liked the "feather" pattern on the aluminum for looks and feeling, but the G10 is grippier.
