Byrd warranty issue

I have a Byrd G10 meadowlark that has a bad blade pivot screw. I emailed spyderco asking for a replacement and they sent me just the male side. Sure enough, its the female screw I need. It took three weeks to get the last one, is there a faster way? Thanks
 
I wonder if they keep replacement Byrd parts at Golden or if they have to import them from China.

That may explain the 3 weeks.
