"Byrds Leather" Sheath Questions

I have what I believe is an older #14 that came (to me) with a "Byrds Leather" rough-back sheath. It's stitched, but also has 7 rivets.

I've seen a few pictures of similar sheaths, but I'm wondering if one of our experts might know whether this was a shop-supplied or aftermarket sheath, and what would be the approximate dating? Thanks!

Bob,

All of the Byrd sheaths are aftermarket. Nice workmanship, but not RMK supplied. Hope that helps.

Thanks to both of you for your replies - helps very much. Kind of what I expected, and I agree the workmanship appears to be top-notch. Thanks,
