C J Buck at Foxnews

It makes me proud to support such a great family owned business. That is run so well. Especially a multigenerational one. In my mind Buck knives represents hope for the future of our nation.

It’s odd. In some ways Buck is the perfect name for a knife company especially one focused on hunting blades.

On the other hand it is almost so good of a name that it becomes almost generic.

I know in the past Buck has asked to make sure it’s capitalized. Doing so shows they made an effort to maintain the integrity of the trademark. Or it will become generic. Or at least that’s my recollection.

CJ for president!

I thought it was great they brought him on the news. His comment about a buck knife being a generic term was pretty spot on. I’ve got a friend traveling to Post Falls next Friday to deliver some family heirloom furniture to his ex-wife. He’s never been to the Buck factory store so he’s planning on getting an early start so he can swing in before they close.
I only have a handful of Buck knives, but when asked about a good folding belt knife I always recommend a 110. Pretty hard to go wrong with that choice.

I was driving so missed it on the TV BUT I was listening to FOX on the radio and heard he was going to be on so I called my wife and told her. I listened on the radio and she watched it at home.
