This ones out of Knoxville Tennessee. Levine dates it 1880-1960 as a hardware importer. I have to think this one is early. The jigging on the bone is beautiful. Interesting knife, as it is extremely well made with sunk joints. The bolsters look like iron or pot metal, almost look like aluminum in a way. I wish the pen blade was intact. Whoever owned it, besides the broken blade, looks like they cared for it and used it for fruit. My buddy found it in a windowsill of his house when he moved in years ago.
Anyone have a McClung or some other marks according to lg3, Cranberry, Keener Edge, Monarch, or Axiom knives to share post 'em up.

The difference in color between the pins and bolsters makes me think German production. Just a guess though. I would re-shape the broken blade and carry the snot out of that old beauty!--KV

I sort of thought that too, but I was hoping it was a US made knife. LG3 also lists them as a German Importer.
