I would like to buy a C/S Safe Keeper III
I would like to know if the clip on the sheath is removable and can be repositioned for say upside down carry or horizontal carry
Thanks

AAGD,
I don't know about the Safekeeper III sheath specifically, but the SK II sheath's clip is molded (unfortunately) as one unit with the sheath body.
It is NOT removable and is NOT metal.
Also, the clip is not a full 3" wide for web belt use.

If this is for military/tactical, the SK II can be mounted in any position by tying the sheath on to your webbing. I am going to assume (Iknow, Iknow...don't ASSume) that this would hold true for the SK III also.
The sheath has holes all the way around to which will accomodate this mode of carry. I would also tape (with OD green of coarse) as well for added security.

Also,
If this is to be for civilian carry, you might want to check into what your laws are in regards to possession of a "push dagger".

I think that you will find that it's a big no-no to carry one of these.

I wish that this wasn't so, but that's life now ain't it??

Thanks Raptor
You make too much sence... I think I'll scrap this idea.

Any suggestions for a smaller fixed that the clip is movable for a variety of carries.

Something thin with a cord wrapped handle would be fine.

Thanks again for the info
