i found a very interesting pocket toolkit made by Carl Schlieper it's an eye brand, hallmark on several of the tools and the base knife] it is contained in a brown leather case and consists of;
folding knife/tool handle
hammer
broad flathead screwdriver
Phillips head
awl
can/bottle opener
saw
file
pliers with wire cutter/side cuts

it is all apparently stainless/rostfrei and is not plated as the flathead screwdriver has a couple gouges on the leading edge and shoes no layering or plating. it appears to be a very nicely done set and has a nice folding case that i am going to replace some of the stitching that has begun to unravel.

I was unable to find any information on the net about this and am wondering if any of you guys can help me out. i will get a pic up as soon as i can get a good one hosted.

That's an interesting kit you have there mpi. I've seen them produced under many different brand names, but most originated in Solingen, Germany. Some have more tools than yours, some have less. Oftentimes the folding knife is missing, leaving just a case and a bunch of orphaned blades. As well as being complete, yours is in much better shape than most. Very nice! :thumbup:
