I started wanting to look for Knives at a local pawn. They're relocating though and we're closed today. Decided looking was the mission of the day. I drove 17 miles to Redmond to find a pawn I had never been to. Couldn't find it. Ended up in a Bellevue pawn that I only frequent once a year.
Found a pristine 1995 Police TuFFram aluminum grip for $85. Makes me feel like I was guided there for a reason.

Here next to my OG Police Model from 1989.

The TuFFram coating is so nice I'm afraid to carry it. It came in that padded case. So it must have been in a collection. I'm sure I can't get a return on investment.
It's just so smooth and pretty. LOL
I had an uncoated aluminum grip and gave it away. It marred up to easily. My aversion to scratches isn't as bad now days, but it's so pretty. :culpability:

When I first read the title to your post, I thought that the local police found a stolen Spyderco at a neighborhood pawn shop.

Doh!
