Hey Fellas, after the bushcraft knife challange, I took what you fellas said and made a few changes.. Here is what popped out. Changed the steel to CPM 3V, Kept the laser convex, put buckeye burl with corby bolts on this one. HT and tested at 58RC. I will be doing a run of these with the Colorado belt knife in the next couple weeks. The design is at the water jet cutter now... Here is an intro to the CBK http://www.youtube.com/user/C3Knives?feature=mhee#p/a/u/2/AzD7iTUyU1w

Thanks for lookin.

I will be doing a 6 month ongoing review, so stay tuned... Thanks for lookin.

Lovely knife, gotta' love that burl. But why is the RC so low? 3V is usually recommended at 60-61, isn't it?

That is sick. Love the CKB as well. If it was me I'd go with 5/32" stock, but, I don't have any money anyways:p

Very nice! Just watched the vid for the CBK too...really like that one as well!

Blade shape looks fantastic and reminiscent of the falkniven F1's profile (which I think is just about perfect). Handle looks super comfy, but I'd have to hold it to know for sure and as long as there is enough room between the guard and the birds beak, I imagine it would be excellent in a variety of holds. I'd personally prefer micarta in a knife like that - it looks to me all function, but I'd say its a winner of a design! Looking forward to seeing these in action shots on this and the W&SS forum!

Looking good my friend.

Having tested the original I know how well your thin convex grind cuts and how well your handle works.

As we have discussed, I love the fact that you're moving up to the CPM-3V, and are taking advantage of it's toughness with a thin edge.

I must say I really like the higher point, and the handle Material looks great.

If there's one thing I'm not sure about it's the sharpening notch.
