Thought you fellas might enjoy a few pics of this model. This one is mine and her name is Phoenix Dancing. She has a 24" CPM 3V blade, balance is 2.5" in front of the guard, HT with Cryo, RC tested at 57, Brass guard with Cocobolo backup for comfort. G-10 handle with Bulls eye bolts, Full tang and 100% hand made and freehand convex ground. Primitive sheath impregnated with 8-10oz. Bee's wax. She is lighter and much more nimble than my 27" Katana, and made from a far superior alloy.
I added the laced leather wrap to aide in proper hand indexing on the weapon. It is glued as well as laced into place. I use it nearly daily and it has not slipped or moved in 6months.
