As we walk through this life, we have a few opportunities to help a brother or sister in times of need. In that sense, I would like to offer this hogs help. To those of you that have experienced a little buyers remorse, or have to unload a little infi at quick sale, reduced, because momma's gonna kill ya or just because of a great score at the Creek prices, please email me with your situation and let me see what can be done. I have little money due to drinking the Kool-Aid firehose style :eek:, but let's see :thumbup: :D ;)
 
How bout spreading the wealth and send some $$ my way. I could use some for the upcoming ganzaa. :D

Was thinking about something similar to this the other day.

I've seen a few other forums that use raffles to raise cash for charities or if someone wants to sell an item for a decent price. These raffles always seem fairly well subscribed to and I think with the amount of generous and hungry Hogs here we could run a few no problems.

So someone could say put a FFBM up for raffle at $25 a slot for 20 slots. They get a fair price, the Hogs get a bit of fun and one lucky Hog gets a FFBM for $25! Paypal fees and shipping (CONUS) could be sorted into the system with a little tinkering to.

Maybe special raffles could be arranged for one-off customs or if urgent funds are needed by Hogs.

There are much more little thoughts and suggestions I could add but i'll leave it there for now.
 
Raffles are strictly forbidden on Bladeforums, sorry guys. Too many local laws govern raffles and with people spread all over the country and the world there is no way that all local laws could be followed.
 
Ah cool, was thinking there may be a reason why there hadn't been one.

I'm in a sad situation (sigh)

I bought a $1000 HOGSFH last week..
Now I'm selling a lot of my blades at a cheap price...I got rid of all of them except a Tali Whacker.. the first buyer backed out...

I don't want free $ but you can help me by purchasing my Busse Tali Whacker for a discounted price....

Glory Be Hallaluah! I am glad you all can relate to my sad condition! What a pathetic bunch some of us are who are so ADDICTED TO THIS STUFF that we would jeapordize our financial situation by buying beautiful INFI :-( As I lay here and Fondle my Orange Proto FSH," I just feel for my fellow HOGS Who suffer from the same addiction I do! Ps, Fondling the New Busse is the only cure to this remorse and sudden need to sell...

I am currently in the process of downsizing... and taking a new direction with the infi accumulation... Well. everything inf except the Tali-Whacker. That is sr101 ! Only Busse to ever use that steel.. Some rare stuff there.. Right Jaxx!

Um... Sure! LOL:D ...BTW, you can still downsize the collection & still be majorly obsessed with Busse! :p LOL, I'm in touch with THAT emotion... :D
 
I over spent at Eugene so once my Satin Jack TAC comes back from Okuden I'll be moving a blade or two. I even upgraded to Gold in anticipation of doing some selling.

Speaking of Okuden. He currently has a CG Satin Jack w/ G-10 mag handles so if you need a sheath and don't want to send the knife to him act now.
