C70 Atr

Hi guys,

Does anybody have any info/pictures etc on the C70 ATR (at the ready).

Read about it in Tactical Knives mag, not seen anything anywhere else.

Looks like a very nice blade, MBC rated.

Anybody have an idea when the ATR will be available? And price? Can't find anything on the Spyderco website.

The ATR is supposed to be out in July. Knowing Spyderco, that could really be September. Being in South Africa, you should really try to order it over the internet because the list price will be between $200-300. Which means that on internet dealers there will be a significant discount.

MSRP is $299. Delivery is still planned for July.

When I said that the ATR might come out in September, I did not mean it as a put down. I just know that Spyderco is a fairly small company and that I have learned that there is no point in getting impatient waiting for new models. I know you are getting them out as fasst as you can.

No problem Anthony. Truth is (or should be) always more valuable than ego. Heck, we've been working on this model for more than 2 years. We know when we're behind. I'm the guy that says "yes" or "no" and sometimes there are a few "no's" before we get a "yes"

OTOH, the samples that I'll have at the Blade show this weekend are production samples.

Unless somthing really unusual happens, July is still a realistic date.
